 Renshi Gene Rega 7th Dan

Sensei Rega first began his Martial Arts Training back in 1973. He has studied with some of the world's best teachers and continues to do so. Right from the offset, Sensei Rega had a passion for training and used to train a number of times each week. His progress through the grades was slow and sure as his instructors approach was concerned with quality of product rather than quantity.
He originally earned his black belt in Isshin-Kenpo in the summer of 1979. Isshin-Kenpo being hybrid style combining the best features of Isshin-Ryu and Kenpo systems. Over the years he has competed in many tournaments in kata (forms) and kumite (sparring).
It was during 1996 that Sensei Rega began training in the Goshin-Ryu system at the Pace Institute of Karate. This was under the tutelage of Shihan Michael Pace.In 1997 Sensei Rega began to teach at Pace Institute of Karate, in addition to his continues training, Sensei Rega also instructs the school's Demonstration Team.
